Adapter Subs

Hardened by electric induction, these adapter subs ensure long product life and reduce rod box thread galling, enabling the extension of drill rod thread-life and joint performance.
Black End Adapter Subs
Blank end adapter subs give you the ability to create your own adapter subs according to your unique requirements for your mining. Supplied as rod pin or rod box to either solid blank bar end or tubing blank end, these adapter subs give you maximum versatility .
Solid bar end subs are for use with hoist plugs and water swivels only.
Water Saving Subs
Boart Longyear Water Saver Sub has an integrated check valve feature. This can be used to increase production (extended core barrels only) by excluding the requirement to refill the rod string in up-angled or inclined holes.
